This policy explains what information the Atlantic Arts website (atlanticarts.com) collects, why, and what we do with it. The site is run by Atlantic Arts Inc, Annapolis, Maryland. If you have any questions, email aaioffice@atlanticarts.com or call 410.263.2554.
The short version
- We collect what you choose to send us through the contact form, the basic technical records every website keeps to stay secure, and anonymous statistics about how the site is used (Google Analytics).
- We do not use advertising tracking, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time.
Information you give us
When you use the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, company and message. The form sends this to our office by email and keeps a copy in the website’s database so that no enquiry is lost. If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share.
We use this information only to reply to you and to discuss the artwork or project you asked about. We keep it for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Information collected automatically
- Security records. Like most websites, our hosting provider and our website’s security software record technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These records are used to keep the site running and to detect and block attacks. They are not used to identify or profile visitors.
- Website statistics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site: for example, which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city or region), what kind of device they use and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to do this. We see only totals, not who you are. Google processes this information on our behalf; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn it off with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Cookies. Apart from Google Analytics, the website sets cookies only where they are needed to work: for example, to keep staff logged in to manage the site, and for security. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who else handles your information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. It is handled only by the services that run the website and our email for us, such as our website hosting provider (which stores the site and its database in the United States) and Google (website statistics, above), and only to provide those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as our Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages and press articles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
Children
Our website is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing aaioffice@atlanticarts.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local law; contact us and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
