Art consulting for interior designers, galleries, hospitality and developers

Atlantic Arts has created art programs for hotels, multifamily and commercial developments, corporate offices and public spaces since 1982. We treat each project as one collection rather than a group of separate pieces, and plan it around how people move through the space. The result is a distinctive identity for each space, within the budget.

Interior designers and galleries also come to us as a source of original work, from our portfolio of artists.

Who we work with

Interior designers, galleries and architects

Atlantic Arts has a long history of providing fine art to galleries and interior designers: original work from our portfolio of artists, available now, and help with selection, framing and placement alongside the design team.

Hotels and hospitality

From the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, home to the city’s largest hotel art collection, to a collection for Ritz-Carlton Yachts.

Developers

Art programs for multifamily and commercial developments, from 700 Constitution Ave on Capitol Hill to Met 3 Miami, where fine art imagery was delivered at decorative budgets.

Corporate and public spaces

Commissions and collections for headquarters, office lobbies and public sites, including the Legg Mason international headquarters in Baltimore and the largest outdoor sculpture in Anne Arundel County.

How a project works

  1. We start with the space. We look at the architecture, the budget and how people will move through the building, and plan the art as one collection.
  2. We curate and commission. We select work from established and emerging artists, including our own portfolio, and commission new pieces where a space calls for one.
  3. We deliver and install. Production, delivery, installation and placement are handled for you.

Selected projects

White sculptures at the entrance of MGM National Harbor

MGM National Harbor

One of the largest publicly available corporate collections in the nation: more than 70 museum-quality pieces in a range of media, indoors and out. Working with MGM’s CEO, Mark Myers selected and placed several dozen acquisitions and commissions, from internationally known names such as Alexander Calder, Robert Rauschenberg, Sam Gilliam and Alma Thomas to local and regional artists. An academic catalog accompanies the collection.

Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore

The city’s largest hotel art collection, built around the Washington Color School and the artists who influenced it and followed it: Gene Davis, Sam Gilliam, Frank Stella and Richard Anuszkiewicz among them, alongside contemporary artists including Baltimore-based Karl Connolly.

Ritz-Carlton Yachts

A collection that invites guests to discover the cultures and history of the Côte d’Azur, from Picasso’s view out the window to photography of the era’s personalities.
