Starlie Sokol-Hohne

Starlie Sokol-Hohne was born in Santa Monica, California, in 1958 and completed her studies at UCLA in 1980.

Her work brings together images of antiquity and contemporary mixed media techniques. She assembles each image from collaged photographs and printmaking, then blends the elements with hand painting. Her Abstract series of 12 x 12 inch pieces sits alongside larger paintings up to 40 x 50 inches.
